Robert Henry Brockway Sr., 86, of Keaau died April 11 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Madison, Conn., and was a retired home builder and U.S. Army World War II veteran. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, at Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by wife, Olga Brockway of Keaau; sons, Robert Brockway Jr. of Las Vegas and David Brockway of Florida; daughter, Karen Ghen of Keaau; sister-in-law, Millie Brockway of California; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Fumie “Margie” Doi, 92, of Honokaa died March 28 at home. Born in Papaikou, she was a retired meat and produce stocker for the former Sure Save Supermarkets in Waimea and member of Hamakua Jodo Mission Fujinkai and Goeika, Honokaa Senior Citizens Club, Ka Hui Kapa Apana O Waimea Quilting Club, and former president of the University Extension Club. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Saturday, May 2, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by husband, Yutaka Doi of Honokaa; sons, Roland F. Jack E. Harris, 66, of Volcano died Feb. 15 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Portland, Ore., he was a field assistant at USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory, surveyor for R.M. Towill Corp., archaeological field worker for Rosendahl Inc., and U.S. Navy and Navy Reserve veteran. Services held. Memorial donations to Hawaii Island Humane Society.
